Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness

I have a deep passion for the yogic way of life and love to share this with others.  I teach at retreats and resorts across the world and am happy to arrange classes for groups or individuals by request.

I teach beginners and general classes as well as specialist classes such as core workouts, injury prevention and strengthening sessions. I offer one to one yoga classes and yoga therapy as well as breathing, meditation and yoga nidra classes.

RYS200 qualified Jess teaches yoga and meditation around the world, at retreat centres and in local communities, details of her regular classes will appear on this page. Jess is also available on a one to one basis for yoga therapy or meditation practice.  If you’d like Jess to come into your workplace for lunch time sessions please get in touch.  Jess also teaches corporate meditation and mindfulness as well as sharing this technique with community groups.  Contact us for more information, costs and availability.

Yoga

I teach Ashtanga Yoga, classic hatha style bringing physical, mental, and emotional awareness to help facilitate personal growth.

It is as much about the philosophy and the breath as it is about the physical asanas (postures).  I aim to incorporate wisdom and inspiration from the yoga philosophy for students to take into their daily lives.

Meditation & Midnfulness

IMG_1609Science is catching up with what ancient wisdom has always known, the benefits of meditation can be used to treat many ills, the mind can heal the body, science has now proven that meditation physically changes the brain.

When our mind is quiet and still we can tune into the important things like how we feel and what’s going on around us, rather than thinking of what’s for tea, the argument you had last week or our to do list.

Meditation is very relaxing and not just whilst you’re doing it but provides benefits long after and an ongoing practice can help improve many areas of your life.
